Filings in Support of Case Disposition

Like the Case Search feature, this section of our website is another effort to give the public greater understanding as to why some cases are disposed in the manner chosen by the prosecutor. On occasion, cases are dismissed and plea offers are made in cases that may cause our office or the public heightened concern. If a full explanation of the evidentiary issues and case analysis will not jeopardize a further investigation, prosecutors may choose to file a Memorandum in Support of a Plea Offer or a Memorandum/Notice of Dismissal.
